According to Travel Pulse, Planet Hollywood, a brand originally launched in the 1990s, is making its first-ever foray into all-inclusive resorts.
Slated to open its doors this October, Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Costa Rica will be located on the Gulf of Papagayo in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province. The famed region is known for being home to some of the most extraordinary landscapes and biological corridors on the planet.
The 294-luxury suite property will feature hand-crafted Phabulous Beds with bedding developed exclusively for Planet Hollywood guests; eight venues for wining and dining (including a Guy Fieri Burger Joint); a PUMPED fitness center; PH Spa and two swimming pools, as well as a splash zone.
Technology will also be used to heighten the resort experience, including such things as interactive touch-screen digital displays throughout the property narrating the memorabilia experience and PHTV in-suite and throughout the resort, keeping guests up-to-date with live streaming of events and activities.
Located at the base of exclusive Peninsula Papagayo, Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Costa Rica will be a hillside property that makes the most of its natural setting with a design based on an understanding of the local environment and, as a result, a balance between construction and respecting nature, blending the two in an organic way.
And in keeping with Planet Hollywood’s lifestyle, the resort will provide guests an array of signature brand offerings, including its Your Soundtrack music program through which guests can choose a music theme to create the soundtrack of their vacation.
Additional brand offerings include the Main Event Guarantee, allowing guests to catch all major events in real time and Plugged In, providing guests with unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi resort-wide.
For those who want to spend quality time exploring Costa Rica, the property will offer a curated list of excursions. PH Experiences will allow guests to discover the famed Papagayo Gulf, from visiting life-like dinosaurs in an open-air jungle environment to sailing and snorkeling.
There will also be a Starlets Kids Club at the Costa Rica property, designed to bring imagination to life with fun and educational experiences such as Planet Hollywood TV, Walk of Fame Scavenger Hunt, Starlets Hall of Fame Party and more.
