San Diego combines over 70 miles of breathtaking beaches with world-renowned national parks, plenty of exhilarating outdoor activities, and the ever-so-popular “SoCal” laid back and inviting culture.

See below for our 3-day itinerary:

Day One: Sit back….

DO

Urban Adventures Coronado Bay and the Beaches: Clients travel from Santa Fe Depot across the water to Coronado while enjoying picturesque views of the San Diego skyline and Coronado Bridge. After venturing through Spreckels Park, the local guide leads participants to Star Park where they may also enjoy breathtaking views of Coronado beach.  Everyone gathers for a picnic under the bright and glorious California sunshine before visiting the iconic Hotel del Coronado.

SEE

How about exploring a 4,600-acre outdoor playground? Mission Bay Aquatic Park is the largest manmade aquatic park of its kind in the world. Travelers won’t tire of its endless activities, ranging from sailing and jet skiing to bike riding and triathlons.

EAT

Bencotto Italian Kitchen, aptly located in Little Italy, makes various types of organic fresh pasta on a daily basis and offers a number of delectable sauces, from the classic-bolognese, to pesto and alle noci. Though it’s a popular for date night, we suggest clients visit for lunch to avoid the larger crowds.

Day Two: Relax…

DO

San Diego Craft Brewery Tour: Setting off from the city’s downtown area, travelers ride the merry bus to visit several breweries for tastings and brewing education from local brewers. The first stop is Ballast Point, best-known for their IPAs and Pacific Ales. After later visiting Mission Brewery, it’s lunch time at Karl Strauss, who serves award-winning foods along with hundreds of craft beers on tap.

SEE

Balboa Park is the largest urban cultural park in the United States, spanning 1,200 acres. Clients may enjoy visiting any of its 15 museums, or exploring its gorgeous gardens, theaters, or even the San Diego Zoo! The park also houses the iconic California Tower, which is one of the most recognizable structures in San Diego.

EAT

Hodad’s is a meat-lover’s delight and one of the most iconic establishments in the city, thanks in no small part to its status as a family-owned restaurant. Their delectable menu filled with mouthwatering burger options, including veggie burgers, certainly helps, too.

Day Three: Enjoy…

DO

San Diego City Tour “Heart of SoCal”: San Diego’s year-round tropical weather and gorgeous beaches help make it a top-booked destination. This half-day excursion allows clients to explore so much more, like the historic sites of Old Town, Balboa Park, and Little Italy. After a visit to La Jolla and its numerous natural sea caves, participants marvel at the panoramic views of the city offered at Mt. Soledad.

SEE

Night owls will thoroughly enjoy a visit to the city’s Gaslamp Quarter, conveniently located in its downtown area. Featuring the perfect mix of Victorian-era buildings and modern high-rises, travelers can explore over 100 restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

EAT

Tajima Ramen House is the go-to location for locals to enjoy their savory ramen made with a choice of thin or thick noodles, rice plates, salmon tataki, and Japanese curry.
