Over the years, Universal Orlando Resort has become one of Florida’s top family destinations and with the addition of Volcano Bay a Universal vacation package became even more exciting!
With 18 different attractions, including a win winding river, a variety of raft and body slides and a multi-directional wave pool, there is something for everyone in the family at Universal Orlando. Krakatau Aqua Coaster, the park’s signature attraction, drops guests through a 200-foot volcano and the Ko’okiri Body Plunge is a 70-degree drop slid that cruises through the volcano pool. The 25-acre complex was inspired by the South Pacific islands.
While the Krakatau Aqua Coaster is the main attraction, families have many other options in creating unforgettable memories at Universal’s Volcano Bay. And an important feature of the park is the TapuTapu waterproof wearable device that allows guests to skip the lines! It’s simple to use too! Guests visit the attraction they’d like to ride and tap the wearable device to the attraction’s Totem Pole to received a return time. The TapuTapu device alerts the guest when it’s time to return to the attraction for an exciting experience.
